I got tired of working on the current release, so I released it. It's over on the Phoenyx, but as soon as I get the wrinkles ironed out there, I'll bring it over here too. I realized I was going to be working on the mailbox stuff awhile longer, and I might as well turn the profile maintenance stuff loose and let people play with it. Rollback is very simple, if it gives us any trouble. I'm finally ready to start discussing what the final default templates should look like. I have a compromise I'm starting to be happy with (the stylesheet is named "forumish," which sums it up), but it still needs work - especially finetuning in the CSS, since I've dumped the tables. It's very short on whitespace, and I'd like to change that. Carl doesn't care much for the "last post by/on/in" business, which has been my compromise for getting bits of actual content as high-level as possible. I'm inclined to agree, and I'm leaning toward replacing it with clearer nav links. I also think I'm going to have to put a menu block of some sort, so you can always get to registration/login, your profile, your mailbox, recents, and all that sort of thing. The breadcrumb menu isn't bad, but it's inconsistent (it goes from (Forum>Categories to Forum>OneCategory instead of Forum>Categories>OneCategory and so forth) and doesn't help if you're in the category/group/topic/thread/page cascade and you want something in the member cascade. I'm ready to start taking bug/feature requests, though.
