Gamehawk 4 Jul

We finally put a whoa on the "racing from one side of the family to the
other every holiday" thing, and went to my sister's tonight for a
combined birthday dinner (my son, me, and sort-of my mom, though we'll
probably take her out again this weekend), but otherwise stayed home.
This gave me time to, as you'll have noticed if you read on-site, do
serious damage to the stylesheet. It needed done, though... we had
cases of invisible links because headers used the visited color too
often. The color bars will be back in some form, but only after I've
had time to work out the combinations a little better.

I also have an undocumented feature: pursuant the whole
click-through-levels issue, I added a new URL format to the topics, so
you can go to (for instance) http://forum.wirebird.com/topic/gamehawk
without adding any specific topic, and you get all the topics. That's
going to need some format work, especially right now without the color
bars, but mostly it's useful for the Atom/RSS flavors:
http://forum.wirebird.com/topic/gamehawk/index.rss and
http://forum.wirebird.com/topic/gamehawk/index.atom (append
"?summary=yes" if you want the summary feed... another undocumented
feature). This is different from
http://forum.wirebird.com/group/gamehawk in that the group is the
collection of topics. I should make a pretty graphic to demonstrate all
this.

Right now the LJ syndication at "gamehawk_news" points to
/group/gamehawk/index/.rss?summary=yes, but I can change that if
whoever is subscribed there wants to (either to the all-topics, or the
full-text version).

And yes, I *did* break wirebird.com right after I wrote that post. I
just copied the whole shebang over to the dev Phoenyx site, so there'll
be a little less of that now.

There'll also be a little less of the actual bugs and missing features
*fixed* in realtime, but that's probably a reasonable tradeoff.
